Privacy Policy
Stoxx for Android Effective 8 August 2026 Version 1.0
The short version
- Zero data is requested or collected from you. No accounts, no user input, no tracking, no ads.
- Stoxx does not ask for location, contacts, device identifiers, or personal information.
- All calculations and data views run entirely on your device.
- Saved watchlists, preferences, and offline data stay on your device and are never sent to us.
- We have no servers that store your data, and no third-party analytics SDKs.
What this covers
Omniscience is an applied research group based in New York City. This policy covers Stoxx for Android, this website, and any email you send us.
It doesn't cover Google Play itself — see Google's privacy policy for that. Play provides us only anonymous, aggregated download statistics.
Zero data collection
Stoxx does not collect, record, log, or transmit any personal information or user data. We do not run user databases, user accounts, or tracking services.
Stoxx is engineered to function autonomously on your device. Specifically, Stoxx does not collect, store, or share:
- Personal Identifiers — name, email address, phone number, physical address, or account login credentials;
- Financial Data — bank details, payment card numbers, or transaction history;
- Location Data — precise or approximate GPS/network coordinates;
- Device & Usage Identifiers — Advertising ID (AAID), IMEI, MAC address, IP tracking, or user fingerprinting;
- Personal Content — contacts, photos, videos, audio recordings, messages, or calendar events;
- App Activity & Diagnostics — search history, clickstream data, analytics, or crash logs.
The app contains zero analytics SDKs, zero advertising networks, zero telemetry frameworks, and zero crash-reporting services that phone home.

Stoxx has no access to your files, photos, contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
What stays on your phone
In the app's private sandbox storage, walled off by Android:
- your watchlists and saved views;
- your display preferences and unit settings;
- locally cached market data feeds.
This data remains strictly on your device. We have no backend server that receives or backs up your watchlists.

The website, and emailing us
omniomniomni.com is a static site: no cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts, and no tracking forms. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
If you email us, we use your message solely to reply. We do not add you to mailing lists or share your email address.
Keeping it safe
- All network communication occurs strictly over encrypted HTTPS.
- On-device settings sit within Android's private app sandbox.
- No central server or user database exists to target or breach.
Kids
Stoxx is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your rights
You have the right to request information regarding any data we hold about you. Because Stoxx collects zero user data, the answer is always "none" (unless you have directly sent us an email).
Changes
If our privacy practices ever change, we will update this document and post notice prior to any changes taking effect.
